SwiftLing does the parts of multilingual SEO that belong to a translation plugin, with no setting needed.
- hreflang links in the head of every page, one for each language, so search engines know the pages belong together.
- Canonical addresses in each language.
- Sitemaps for every language, also those of Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO.
- Translated slugs, also of categories, tags and the fixed words in addresses.
- Search finds the translated texts in each language (Settings › General › Search).
SEO plugins
The titles and descriptions of Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO appear as fields in the translation editor, so you translate them with the rest of the page.
Each page has its own address
Every page keeps one address per language, so search engines see every language and page caches keep working. A visitor’s browser language never changes the address of a page, see The visitor’s language.
Search Console
Add each address of a language to Google Search Console when you use subdomains or domains of their own.
