Caching plugins
When a translation changes, SwiftLing empties the pages concerned in:
WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, SiteGround Speed Optimizer, Breeze, Nginx Helper, Proxy Cache Purge and Cloudflare.
Every language has an address of its own, so cached pages show the right language. The browser language is never used to choose a page for the same address.
If your cache plugin is not on the list, empty its cache after a big change, for example after Translate everything. With Pro, wp swiftling flush-cache empties SwiftLing’s cache and the known cache plugins.
Networks of sites (multisite)
SwiftLing works on a network. Each site has its own languages and translations.
- The addresses of a network use a folder or a parameter for each language; subdomains and own domains per language are for a single site.
- SwiftLing can be network-activated, or activated per site.
- Deleting SwiftLing keeps the data, as on any site.
